Terms of use

Last updated 19 August 2026.

These terms cover your use of SceneWeave. They are deliberately short, because SceneWeave is deliberately small: it is a free service, in an early pilot, with no payments, no subscriptions, no advertising and no ticketing.

Reading a calendar needs no account and no agreement. These terms apply to people who sign in and publish. Anyone may read a public calendar without accepting anything.

Who may use it

You need to be old enough to hold a Google account and to enter an agreement where you live. Use SceneWeave lawfully, and do not use it in a way that breaks the law that applies to you or to the people who read your calendar.

Your account

You sign in with Google, so the security of your account is largely the security of your Google account. Do not share your sign-in. Access links that SceneWeave generates are bearer credentials: whoever holds one has the access it carries, so share them deliberately. They can be revoked at any time from the calendar that issued them.

What you publish, and who is responsible for it

You are. If you create a calendar, you are responsible for what appears on it — including listings added by people you grant roles to. Make sure you have the right to publish what you publish, that it is accurate, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

You keep your content. SceneWeave claims no ownership of what you create. By publishing it here you give SceneWeave the permission it needs to do the one thing you are asking it to do: store your content and display it — including in subscription feeds and search results — according to the disclosure settings you choose. That permission lasts as long as the content is on the service, and ends when you remove it.

Public means public. Anything you publish publicly can be read by anyone, indexed by search engines where you allow it, and subscribed to as a calendar feed. Do not put anything on a public calendar that you would not want read by a stranger — including other people’s personal details.

What you must not do

Reporting a problem

If something on a calendar is unlawful, infringing, or should not be published, email cyriac.apps@gmail.com with a link and a short explanation. The first step is normally to contact the people who run that calendar, but you do not have to.

Suspension and removal

SceneWeave may remove content or suspend an account where it appears necessary — for example where content is unlawful, where an account is being used to impersonate somebody, or where use of the service is damaging it for other people. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will be told why, and you may reply.

Changes and availability

This is a pilot. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times, planned or otherwise. SceneWeave does not promise any particular level of availability, and does not promise that a feature available today will exist tomorrow. Keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose.

These terms may change. The date above changes when they do, and the page is kept under version control so every change is reviewable.

Disclaimers and liability

SceneWeave is provided free and as-is. It does not guarantee that listings are accurate or that events happen as described — that is up to whoever publishes them — and it is not the organiser of events listed on it.

To the extent the law where you live allows it, SceneWeave’s operator is not liable for loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here takes away rights you have that cannot be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using SceneWeave at any time, and you can ask for your account to be deleted — see Privacy for what deletion does and does not remove. If you own a calendar, you will be asked to transfer it or retire it first, so that a published calendar is not left with nobody able to manage it.
